Amazing snow ice"snowballs" I grew up in New Orleans with some of the best snowball stands ever but right here in Mobile we have a place that reminds me of NOLA. They also have all need hotdogs nachos with cheese and Frito chili cheese pie among other items. It's cash only and they also have a side in the building for UPS drop offs you can fax there and staff on both sides are friendly people. This is not a fast food place so make sure you have a few minutes to wait because they get busy but trust me its worth the wait. Winter hours are shorter but hey atleast they stay open year round. Closed sun,mon,tues but open wed -Sat 1on to 6on. They have a FB page and website.
Asked who I assume the owner for a cup for the ice cream since I'm driving as soon as I leave here and didn't want to spill it in a bowl. Obviously this was too difficult for either her or the staff because it was just impossible for her to do. Such a simple request to meet so that the customer would not spill ice cream all in her car. You'd think they would be able to scoop ice cream and put it in a cup that would fit in cup holders. But she said, "the line back here gets too hectic". Too hectic to put ice cream in a cup instead of bowl? Okaayyyyy. Then tried to charge me $3.00 for a cup so that I could just put the ice cream in there myself. Absolutely ridiculous.
Great shave ice and my son enjoyed his two hotdogs. It can it crowded, they don't hurry, and they only take cash. It's those kinds of places you usually find the best treats though. Enjoyed our visit and will be back.
This place offers hawian shaved ice snow cones. Their so soft it's like a mixture between snow and a cloud!! I went one Saturday and I've been going every Saturday ever since! They also offer delicious hot dogs, nachos and many more quick foods!
Food is yummy. Sno cones are huge. Yes there is a wait. But its worth it.
